Youthrive Coaching Sliding Scale Method:

At Youthrive Coaching, we proudly adopt the Green Bottle Sliding Scale Method for individuals. Inspired by Alexis J. Cunningfolk. This approach is tailored to individuals with varying financial capacities, promoting accessibility to mental health first aid training.

The Green Bottle Analogy: Imagine a green bottle filled with liquid, offering diverse payment options. Labeled with suggested amounts like "High Income," "Medium Income," and "Low Income," clients select a corresponding level that aligns with their financial ability. This approach eliminates the need for financial discussions, fostering a safe space for honest communication.

**Basic needs include food, housing, and transportation.
**Expendable income might mean you can buy coffee at a shop, new clothes, go to a movie, etc. each month

Pricing Categories:

  1. Full Price (100% of services):

    • For individuals with financial security, property ownership, and personal savings, not qualifying for sliding scale. If you can comfortably cover wants without worry about necessities, this price is for you. Additionally, if your employer is covering the cost of the training, this is the appropriate category.

  2. Middle Cost (80% of services):

    • Catering to those struggling with debt or working to build savings, this category acknowledges steady income but living paycheck to paycheck. Basic needs like shelter and food are secure, but ongoing services may require seeking assistance.

  3. Bottom Cost (35% of service):

    • Recognizing deep discounts are essential for accessibility, we limit this category to maintain sustainability of offering these spots consistently. Individuals here may struggle to access necessities like healthcare, housing, food, childcare, living paycheck to paycheck, or facing significant debt. This fee also incorporates a portion to cover overhead costs, ensuring the continued availability of quality services.

Power of Transparency: Our commitment to transparency includes openly sharing our sliding scale policy, its management, and eligibility criteria. We believe everyone deserves quality mental health first aid training, and this method, while respecting the investment in our education and expertise, aims to make access as flexible as possible.

Redefining "Affordability": Affordability transcends a fixed price. With the Youthrive Coaching Sliding Scale Method, we aim to redefine it by acknowledging diverse financial circumstances, ensuring accessibility to a broad range of individuals, and promoting inclusivity in mental health first aid training.
